Repeated Measure Design: A Time Use ApplicationDepartment of Home Management and Housing, The Ohio State University, Columbus, OH 43210 Time use studies frequently involve collecting data for more than one day. A repeated measure design considers the non-independence of the days' time data in the analysis. The significant difference between the days' time use was found not to be due to day of the week alone, but attributable to the difference between the "yesterday" or recall approach and the "tomorrow" or record approach to collecting time data.
